#2. RAM testing

      Has it ever happened with you that you were in the middle of that important document or were writing an important email when suddenly your computer crashes? Then you are the one who must be reading this article. These questions must have arisen in your mind :-
                    a) "How can I find out why my computer keeps crashing?"
                    b) "My RAM is malfunctioning, how can I be sure?"


And many more such questions. So, there is a way after all to test whether your RAM is causing the nuisance or not. So, the first product for that is:
          1) Memtest86 - The industry standard. Free software. You can click on the name to visit their website and see for yourself the specifications. If you want to see technical reviews, then click on it and go to a website that will give you a detailed review. You can download the software either from the memtest86 website or from links below:
                                    Ver 4.0b - Windows (zip) ISO image for creating bootable CD
                                     Ver 4.0b - Linux (gzip) ISO image for creating bootable CD
Download the zipped iso file and extract the iso file. Burn it onto a CD and then boot your system from this disk. The memory testing software is free from OS dependancy.
